Larsson joined Barcelona in 2004, where he won two La Liga titles and the 2005–06 UEFA Champions League, where he came off the bench to provide the assists for both goals to help FC Barcelona win their 2nd European Cup. At international level for Sweden, Larsson also played in 3 world cups and 3 European Championships, winning a bronze medal at the 1994 World Cup.
