Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in history, Ruud Gullit dominated world football throughout the 80s and 90s. At club level, Gullit won league titles in the Netherlands and Italy, with Feyenoord, PSV and AC Milan respectively and also picked up the 1987 Ballon D’or. On the European Stage, Gullit was imperative to AC Milan’s back to back European Cup success in 1989 and 1990. Ruud Gullit also became the first Dutch player in history to captain his country to International success in the 1988 UEFA European Championship.
